PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE
This collection is about childhood nostalgia and kidult.The starting point is the movie, ”Pee-wee’s big adventure” by Tim burton. This is about eccentric man-child Pee-Wee Herman embarks on the big adventure of his life across the US mainland, as he sets out to find his beloved bike, when it is stolen in broad daylight. I analyzed Peewee’s character and tried to focus on his tendency of childhood nostalgia. All boxes shape garments are made by bright and fun color of leather, suede,fur and wool to express warmth and Childish Innocence. Moreover, to add toylish and fun element, I put thousand of pins were coloring on the boxes shape garment to make three-dimensional shape. And also I made basic inners by digital printing of my own illustration form research. I produced fun and cute accessories, which are match with each outfits by using real toys. I put my all efforts to make fun and delight outfits like the kidult ,Peewee who has childish pure mind from the movie.
